Description: Regulus looks exactly like Movieverse Optimus Prime, only he is completely red with the Dynasty of Primes symbol on the left side of his antenna. He does not have his father's flames, preferring to stick to just one colour. He is slightly smaller than Optimus by a foot and has three toes on each foot instead of two. He has his mother's soft and delicate face. His forearms, upper arms, head, torso, thighs, calves and feet are covered in red armour. His optics are a lighter Autobot blue than they usually would be.
History: When Regulus was born, his mother - Elita-One - died during his birth and his father - Optimus Prime - was forced to raise him. But when Optimus discovers the Dynasty of Primes symbol on Regulus' head, he realises that a destiny has been set in motion for the little sparkling. Rumour gets around that a prophecy surrounds Regulus and Optimus starts to become super-protective over Regulus and was determined to shield his own son from the belief that he may be the "Saviour" and the Autobots' salvation to ending this war between the Autobots and Decepticons. But one day, when the Autobots heard that the Allspark had been discovered on Earth and when Regulus was just coming out of his younglinghood, Optimus had little choice but to leave his son under the care of the elder femme - Greenlight - promising that she would look after Regulus and raise him as her own and make him remember who his father is. But after Optimus left with a small team of Autobots to find the Allspark, the Decepticons attacked the Youth Sector and Greenlight, knowing that they were after Regulus, retrieved the youngling and was shown a secret passageway by her old friend, Lancer. She took Regulus to where the ship - the Eclipse - was waiting for any evacuees that may have escaped the attack. Greenlight boarded the ship with the assistance of Scattorshot and the ship immediately departed. Many orns later, when Regulus was just getting his armour and has just had a special celebration where he would soon be joining the ranks of the Autobots, the Eclipse has settled on a planet called Aegis V in a galaxy called the Triangulum Galaxy. Greenlight, though getting up there in her old age, decides to take a wander around and explore the unusual planet that they had landed on. Regulus wanted to come too, but Greenlight advised him to stay behind since she needed some time to herself and she promised that she would be back later to give him the gift she had promised to give him when he had turned twenty-eight. Regulus finally agrees and he goes back inside with his friend Arcturex, who is waiting for him. Greenlight then heads off alone, happy that she could finally get some downtime on her own. But she is unaware of a shadowy figure that is following her. As soon as she is out of the sensor range of the Eclipse, Ravage attacks. He pounces onto the femme and burrows his teeth into her neck, not harming her but it is enough to cause paralysis. Ravage attempts to interrigate and demand the whereabouts of the sparkling of Optimus Prime. Greenlight just laughs and tells him that he will never get any information out of her - not while her spark still burns. Ravage gets angry and starts shaking her violently and digs his teeth further into her neck. Greenlight starts to lose energon and begins to choke. Back at the ship, Regulus starts getting worried and he heads outside. But Arcturex tries to coax him back inside, but Regulus ignores him, suddenly getting a bad feeling in the back of his CPU. When he gets outside, he hears Greenlight's cries of agony and he hurries off to save her, his newfound solider's instinct kicking into gear. He turns the corner and spots Ravage pinning down his mother and shaking the lifeblood out of her. He screams in rage and his back transforms into his own weapon for the first time and he releases a blast in Ravage's direction. Ravage, spotting Regulus, thinks that he is Optimus Prime and he immediately retreats back into the shadows. Regulus slowly approaches Greenlight's broken body and gently lifts her head up, supporting her. Greenlight coughs up energon and she tells him in her dying words that she is not his mother and that she had died long ago and his father still lives on. Regulus demands what she is saying, but she continues telling him that her gift for him lies in her quarters underneath her berth and she hoped that it will be of good use to him in the future. Her optics go offline and Regulus screams out in anguish. Arcturex, who saw everything, watches as Regulus carries Greenlight's offline body back inside the Eclipse and lays her on the med-berth where the Autobot medic Laceration is just finishing up. Before he could question Regulus, the young mech leaves and heads for Greenlight's quarters. He enters her quarters and, with Arcturex looking onwards, he finds the gift Greenlight wanted to give him and discovers an ancient sword carved in Cybertronian symbols he's never even seen before. While the Autobots grieve over the loss of Greenlight, Scattorshot suddenly tells everyone that he has received a message from a galaxy called the Milky Way Galaxy from someone called Optimus Prime and that they were departing as soon as the supplies were finished being added to the ship. Regulus, sensing something familiar in that name, decides that he'll go and face whatever destiny has to throw at him and that he'll do whatever it takes to meet this Optimus Prime, no matter the cost.
Personality: Regulus lives up to his name by having the courage of a lion. He is so courageous that he intends to get into situations he can't get out of. When he was a youngling, he had a curiosity that often got him into trouble, as he grew older, he was still curious about things and likes to stick his nose into places where it doesn't belong. He is best friends with the mech Arcturex and they enjoy getting up to mischief together and often pulling pranks on their favourite target - Speckles. Ever since the day Greenlight had been killed, Regulus has had a change of spark and is showing a fierce determination in becoming the best warrior anyone has ever been. Although a bit cocky in his abilities, Regulus never allows his excitement to get him caught up in the middle of a battle. His mentor - Scattorshot - finds him a remarkable warrior for someone so young and secretly hopes that someday he will live up to the expectations of the legendary Optimus Prime. Regulus has a strong belief in the Autobot cause since he was raised by Greenlight and Scattorshot to believe in anything and he will do anything to ensure that all living beings have the freedom that they rightfully deserve.
Weapons/Abilities: Because he is still young, Regulus does not have the complete skill to wield his newfound transformation weapons, but he is a fast learner. Regulus wields a Barrage Cannon that has a range of up to sixty miles, the laser sighted barrage cannon fires plutonium tipped warheads at a rate of 6 warheads per second, with each warhead carrying the equivalent of 3,000 lbs of TNT. Regulus's primary ranged weapon is an Ion Blaster, though he prefers to use his Dual Energon Swords in combat, leaving the blaster stored in his back in the form of fuel tanks. Once fired, it releases a wave of radiation condensed into an energy ball that will destroy anything in its path. Regulus is still under the training of Scattorshot in hand-to-hand combat, but is learning quite well. Regulus possess Dual Energon Swords on each arm, he charges the swords via a quantum electric generator with a max yield of 1000 degrees Celcius and a burn rate of 5 kilojoules per second.
Weakness: Regulus has no known physical weakness, but if there is any known weaknesses about him, then it's his curiosity about unusual things like the humans, his environment, and even his friends. And his concern for those weaker than him often puts him in a position he can't get out of, thus he has Arcturex keeping him out of trouble, but most of the time this fails. But sometimes he tries a little too hard in trying to achieve certain goals and often ends up pushing himself beyond his limits. Because of his youthfulness, he is still not used to battling on the battlefield and can even sometimes push himself to the best of his abilities, often landing himself in the med-bay and getting a chewing out of Speckles.
