Merry Christmas everyone.

While it is very unfortunate that so many good lives will not be part of the end of the year, we will take into account that their sacrifices will not be forgotten or in vain. This year has had its many ups and downs. It's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but take heart knowing that you're alive and that you've all made it through.

We don't know for sure if 2021 is going to be worse than 2020, but know that we're all in this together.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition+New Mass Effect Game

I am... completely emotional right now.

N7 Day is usually one of those really special days for me because of my love for the Mass Effect games. We fans of this wonderful and memorable universe have always come together on this day to share our love for our Shepards, our favourite characters, our favourite moments, our choices. Mass Effect was always ours to choose, how we proceeded with OUR Shepard's story, how we chose to love or spend time with our most beloved characters. How they shaped the very course of said universe.

Now, on this very day we can finally return to this world in the newly announced (and quite obviously rumoured) remastered version of Mass Effect on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC, coming in Spring of 2021.

We fans have been dying for this announcement for sooo long and at long last we can dive back in and relive the memories of our Shepard's story. Our story.

And while Andromeda was a bust for its constant development hell, BioWare announced the coming of the next Mass Effect game. Where it will take part we will not know, but we know for certain... that veterans are developing it this time, not the idiots you left to make a disaster.

And now my favourite N7ers... it's time to come home to the Milky Way aboard the Normandy and relive the glory where the game was at it's absolute best.

Beware the Spam!

Everyone, please be aware that the spammers that were constantly sending raffles in the past are now posing as staff members and claiming to partnering with Amazon by sending a $700 Amazon gift card as an apology by making you click an infamous link in your notes.

I almost, ALMOST got tempted to click it until I saw the same link that has been plaguing us artists for years. Do yourself a favour and report the person AND block them as soon as possible.

Self Isolation Possible

Telling myself it will be okay is like banging my head against a brick wall. I know there are people out there who are as scared as I am, that thousands are dying.

But being told by your own father to take leave of absence or quit your work all together in order to self isolate until the whole thing blows over because of your chronic respiratory illness that reacts very badly to cold or flus in cold weather? It’s brought me to breaking point and near hysteria but there’s people out there far worse than me.

It could take months before it gets better. To self isolate from even my family and the very work place that’s brought my self esteem and confidence issues to better levels than when I first started? I can’t do it... but if it’s for my safety and everyone else’s... the option is becoming more and more likely and it scares me so much.

My work is doing everything it can to keep us safe with masks and stuff because we’re essential. We can’t shut down. We have to use masks and gloves when we work, things that are better off for those that really need them, but when we’re in the bus and travelling in between jobs we can’t do the 1.5m distance because we’re packed in like sardines.

It’s going to come here to my home town, and when it does... there’s a high chance that I won’t live to see it through unless I self isolate from the rest of the world.

I’m going to talk to my personnel officer and then get my doctor’s advice when I go in for my flu shot on April 9th. The sooner I get it... the better.

EDIT: Eleven hours and 45 minutes later, the power came back on at 11:45am. My fish made it through and I had to give them a 20% water change with water conditioner to give them back the oxygen they lost throughout the power outage. Fish are doing a lot better and are no longer swimming around the surface to take a gulp of air. My constant surface agition every hour probably saved their lives. I’m not an experienced fish owner honestly. One of my fish passed away due to swim bladder issues I assume. I felt guilty because there was nothing I could do for him to ease his suffering. He couldn’t keep up with the other danios. He was
